As summer slowly slides into fall — my favorite time of the year — we have a lot to look forward to. And now it has gotten even more exciting as I just recently attended the Design Toscano Autumn New Product Launch. The Product Development team introduced the latest print catalog and showed everyone all the new products that Design Toscano is offering this Fall and Halloween season. All of Design Toscano’s employees took the time to attend — from the office staff to the people that take and fill your orders — so everyone on staff can help answer your questions!
We were shown and discussed new products across all categories: furniture, wall décor, indoor and outdoor statues which will appear in the autumn, halloween and holiday catalogs, as well as some brand new website exclusives.
The first piece that we all agreed was so amazing that I needed to bring to your attention is a grand “wow” piece from the furniture department. It is the Contessa Stylish Baroque Throne Chair (AF51553) and is it ever fit for a queen! Available only from Design Toscano, this hand-carved mahogany antique replica throne chair stands almost six-feet tall and it is draped with creamy velvet upholstery and hand finished in a rich gold leaf. Design Toscano offers hundreds of Egyptian sculptures, furniture pieces and functional works of Egyptian art — I have quite a few of them — but I think I need to add a pair of the wonderfully detailed Royal Cat Goddess Bastet Table Lamp (CL7548) to my collection. The cats of Egypt were viewed as magical creatures capable of bring good luck as they wandered about the house and garden and Bastet the Egyptian cat goddess was known as a protectress of women, so Bastet basking in the glow of the lamplight will cast its own circle of warmth.

Now that fall is approaching and we are collecting the fruits of our labor as the weather turns cooler, this is the time to start planning and shift our focus indoors and ahead to the holidays, parties, and guests.
